Inspired by a Sonya Miro face chart I saw on instagram. This one I think is more wearable but hers is definitely more artistic. I think soon I will also do a more dramatic, artistic version of it but for now this is what I came up with.
My dress is from HotMiamiStyles inspired by Amrezy since I was obsessed ever since I saw it. My shoes are Lolashoetique.
My tan is fake bake (since I am an esthetician I get a nice discount at Cosmo Prof for my self tanners which is why I haven’t tried Loving Tan yet or others that bloggers rave about). Plus I remember Loving Tan cost more than I wanted to pay for shipping.
My bronzer on my legs is Lorac Tantalizer which I absolutely love. I used it ever since my Sephora days years ago and still do. If you guys know of any others you love let me know I love to try new things.
If you want me to post full details on my makeup look then let me know, otherwise you can check out my instagram @kimconranxox because I list all the details of my makeup there.
Hey everyone! I wanted to post details about this eye makeup look.
I do my eyebrows first. I used Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow in soft brown to carve out my brows. I use her brow wiz in ash blonde & taupe to create a gradient. Then I carved out my brows using Tarte clay colored cc concealer in light medium. This has great coverage. It is also very creamy which is awesome because my skin has been really dry.
Next I used MAC soft ochre as a base followed by custard eyeshadow from the Lorac Mega 2 pro palette. Then I went in with MakeupGeek peach smoothie, followed by Anastasia Beverly Hills Warm Taupe and then MAC soft brown. After those 3 shades were blended, I used Ash from Lorac Mega 2 pro palette followed by the black in the same Lorac palette on the outer and inner eye.
Lastly I used Sugarpill Grand Tiara in the center to create a metallic silver halo eye look.
Lashes on top are MAC number 7 and I used TooFaced Better Than Sex mascara for the bottom. Concealer under my eyes is the same Tarte concealer set with Chanel translucent powder in the second lightest shade (translucent 2).
Hope this inspires some! If you have any questions let me know! Starting a youtube soon. You can follow me on my instagram @kimconranxox or feel free to like my Facebook page KimConranMakeup KimConranMakeup

This is a very inclusive list/essay haha but if you want to know what I use personally or recommend let me know!
So now that I discussed cleansers I wanted to talk about the best ways to keep your skin looking young. The best way to keep your skin young is to use a cocktail of ingredients: Retin A derivatives, glycolic acid, vitamin c, vitamin e and sunblock. There is also botox, fillers and ultherapy.
There are a number of ways to exfoliate. You can use a physical exfoliant like a grain or a scrub where you are manually removing dead skin cells or you can use a chemical exfoliant like an alpha hydroxy acid such as glycolic or lactic acid.
I’ve noticed that people either don’t exfoliate at all or they’re exfoliating too much or the wrong way.
If you decide to use a scrub make sure you are using it very gently. Make sure you wet your face first and when you move the grains around on your skin your skin shouldn’t move. Also, make sure you find a scrub that is not abrasive (a.k.a. no St. Ives Apricot Scrub). Ideally, you should exfoliate with a scrub about once or twice a week depending on your skin type.
I personally think chemical exfoliants are way more effective. The alpha hydroxy acids penetrate deeper into the skin to stimulate collagen synthesis. Not all glycolic acid formulas are created equal. It is always about the concentration of glycolic acid and how sensitive your skin is.
Retin A derivatives. They exfoliate while helping to build collagen production. I use tretinoin and I love it. (.025% concentration).
There are so many antioxidants. I use vitamin c and vitamin e. Vitamin c is super unstable. Stability and concentration are the key things when finding the right vitamin c serum.
Never to be forgotten is sunblock. You should be using an SPF of 30 every single day rain or shine. You should put it everywhere the sun hits. This includes your neck, ears, hands, etc. Depending on whether your sunblock is physical or chemical you may need to wait 15-20 minutes for the sunblock to absorb. Physical sunblocks (titanium dioxide and zinc oxide) require no waiting time because they sit on top of the skin.
Lastly, there is botox, fillers and ultherapy:
Botox is amazing because it freezes the muscle from making the same repetitive movements that lead to wrinkles. Fillers are great because there are many different formulas depending on what area of your face you want filled. Cheek fillers also help produce collagen too which is amazing. Ultherapy is also amazing. It is perfect for anyone who is not at the stage of needing a face lift but is noticing visible loss of firmness. It is also perfect for people who want a less invasive procedure because there are no knives or needles involved.
I get questions about skin care a lot so I wanted to make a post about everything I love and my recommendations! I am a perfectionist about my skin and since I am a licensed aesthetician I made sure I learned everything possible. Let’s do this in phases starting with cleansing.
Cleansing: You don’t need to spend a lot on a cleanser. It is on and off your face very quickly. I prefer more gentle cleansers. Getting a pH balanced cleanser is also nice because it eliminates the need for a toner; however, the jury is still in debate over whether a toner is even necessary so if your cleanser doesn’t say pH balanced on it don’t worry. I personally think a toner is a nice addition to your skin care regime especially if you have oily skin but it’s nowhere near as important as serum or sun protection so if money is an issue invest in what works which I will get into later.
Products I love: I am currently using Blue Mercury M61 Perfect Cleanse which I like. It’s only $26 for 8.4 ounces and it’s lasted me forever. It perfectly cleans my skin without drying it out. It’s paraben free and has no sulfates, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, dyes and no animal testing either. I’ve also tried the Image Ormedic Balancing Facial Cleanser which is amazing. The tricky thing about the Image cleanser is that you need to purchase it through a spa or your aesthetician which I personally think can be a hassle. Kinerase Pro + Therapy Skin Balancing Cleanser is also very nice. I tend to go for more organic, holistic cleansers. I love the Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Milk and Cleansing Cream. Biodroga also makes a cleansing oil and cleansing milk which is divine. I am also eager to try cleansers from Eminence.
A lot of european skin care lines believe in cleansing twice. The first cleanser is a more gentle, possibly oil based cleanser that removes makeup. The second cleanse is a deeper cleanse to really thoroughly cleanse the pores. Like I said though, you don’t need to be this fancy with your cleansing. It is totally based on preference. If you exfoliate regularly, then something simple will do the trick. You can also invest in a Clarisonic and use that nightly or a few times a week based on your skin’s sensitivities and preferences.
I am obsessed with the Coolibar Umbrella. It has an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of 50 which means only 2% of the sun’s harmful rays can penetrate through it. It also keeps you 15 degrees cooler. I honestly do not know how I managed to last this long without it. It’s made my time at the beach so much more fun because I don’t have to worry as much about burning or damaging my skin. You can find it at coolibar.com for $89.50 http://www.coolibar.com/product/Umbrellas-Shelters/6-Titanium-Beach-Umbrella/pc/0/c/0/sc/2297/155590.uts
